F,1 - Fir Street at 1st Street

Fir Street runs south and it intersects with 1st Street which heads to the east and west in a T-shape here. Along the street, lamps that are hung with baskets of flowers and seasonal banners that all have Mythic Wood and Fir Street on them illuminating the area quite well after dusk. Wrought iron numbers of the corner addresses are nailed into the posts at eye-level if driving. On the north side of the T, between two fir trees is a stone pedestal and a large bronze book. The book is opened up and the story and a few illustrations are engraved into the metal pages. The fairy tale, 'The Fir Tree' by Hans Christian Andersen is written and depicted.
