Exterior

This building is a basic whitewashed brick building with an upstairs residence. The bottom floor, a small store. In one of the two, plate glass windows set into the wall above eye-level is a sign with hours and a telephone number, facebook, twitter and e-mail for the business and an electric OPEN sign. A wooden bench out front, old and well-used, but that only makes it comfortable. To the right side of the building is a set of stairs leading to the upstairs residence. A sign, at the bottom of the stairs, has an arrow pointing upwards with the words, 'Private Property' underneath. The stone stairs lead up to a blue door with a brass doorknob. The upstairs has several large, two-pane windows facing out front.

Business Interior

An empty business. This part of Alder Street is a rather comfortable working class area and the business reflects that to every nook and corner. Neutral colors adorn the walls and the hardwood floors have been sanded down and then re-polished so they look good as new, or as close to it as possible. At one point this building was a small realty firm and could be a small shop, an office, the only kitchen is upstairs in the residence area, so it wouldn't be very good for anything food related. A sign in a front window says: 'For Sale'.

Residence Interior

An empty residence. Bare dark hardwood floors and whitewashed walls with two-paned whitewashed windows have been renewed and cleaned as much as possible. The stringent scent of cleaning products and fresh paint is strong and ever lingering. This home is comprised of one big open space. An entry area inside the front door has space for racks and storage for outside wear and poor weather accessories or just a place to put some surface for keys and mail. Like in every home there is a living room area with enough space for a sitting area and a center for a TV and other entertainment devices.

Sharing the common living area of the residence is a small dinette area. Attached to the dining area through an open walkway is a tiny corner kitchen. Including the usual appliances such as a hot plate, oven, small sink, dishwasher, garbage can, and a refrigerator. Between these appliances along the white painted walls, is grey granite counters and whitewashed wood cabinetry with knob handles. The bathroom for guests and residents alike adjoining the main living area is a small full bathroom with white and black tiled walls and white and black checkered linoleum floors. With a black porcelain toilet, a small tub and shower, and a black pedestal sink. Generally, this is the sort of home a comfortable person or family could afford to live in.

Large Bedroom

The large bedroom has enough space for a queen sized bed with pretty good size walkway of a Berber beige wall to wall carpet. A walk-in closet is separated from the main area by accordion style doors. If a smaller sized bed or much smaller multiple beds were in place, there would be plenty of space for a dresser, vanity, entertainment center, those sort of things along the whitewashed walls.

Small Bedroom

The small bedroom has enough space for a full sized bed with pretty good size walkway of a Berber beige wall to wall carpet. There is no closet in this room, but if a smaller sized bed or much smaller multiple beds were in place, there would be plenty of space for a dresser, vanity, entertainment center, those sort of things along the whitewashed walls.
