Descriptions
Exterior
The shingles on the slanted roof of this single story home, have seen better days and show their weathering and age though still mostly in good repair. The walls are painted a greyish blue with white trim about the many windows dotting the front. A neon red OPEN sign glows in the window just to the right of the front door. Other windows house signs and stickers depicting various fishing and nautical themes along with the various knickknacks adorning the sidewalk before the building. To the left of the door, wooden posts with these knickknacks upon them reminiscent of being near a pier while to the right sits some shelves with items of possible need for a day on the lake and an ice machine. Above the door, in the eave of the overhang, a plaque is posted to show the local boating clubs insignia while the door boasts a clock with a saying, 'Time to go Fishing!' with a small sign of the house right below it.
Shop Interior
The main living room opens up just inside the front door to display four neat little rows of shelving to display the merchandise sold. Small pockets of empty shelving showing where the more popular items have already been picked at. Across from the front door, a register sits on a counter, a counter that is cluttered with various odds and ends for the visitor to pick up to prove they've been here. Behind the counter is a door leading to the rest of the converted house, though a sign upon it advises all that it is only for employees beyond that point. Off to the right, a sliding glass door provides access to the screened in porch where various tanks and freezers sit and house the live bait for those who need it. The walls of the main room display a menagerie of fishing lures and poles for the avid fisherman to consider.
Private Residence
Brown dominates the main living room. The walls are light brown wood paneling that leads down to a darker brown, short thread, carpet. A well-used couch sits in the middle of the floor, situated before an older model television. To one side of the couch is an overstuffed cloth covered recliner, a remote often settled precariously on the arm of it. Up above, a ceiling fan spins its blades in a steady circle. The wall behind the television holds a couple plaques with record-holding fish with another plaque between them displaying the pole that was used as well as the start of a small hallway that leads to the two bedrooms and bathroom. One wall to the side allows a bit of natural light in from the outside through a curtained window while the one across from it has the doorway to the kitchen and dining room.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has enough space for a king sized bed with pretty good size walkway of a thick brown wall to wall carpet. A walk-in closet is separated from the main area by accordion style doors. If a smaller sized bed or much smaller multiple beds were in place, there would be plenty of space for a dresser, vanity, entertainment center, those sort of things along the whitewashed walls.
On the opposite side of the room from the walk-in closet is a bathroom about the same size. It is what is considered a half bathroom as it's only a pedestal sink and a toilet.
Large Bedroom
The large bedroom has enough space for a queen sized bed with pretty good size walkway of a Berber beige wall to wall carpet. A walk-in closet is separated from the main area by accordion style doors. If a smaller sized bed or much smaller multiple beds were in place, there would be plenty of space for a dresser, vanity, entertainment center, those sort of things along the whitewashed walls.
Small Bedroom
The small bedroom has enough space for a full-sized bed with pretty good size walkway of a Berber beige wall to wall carpet. There is no closet in this room, but if a smaller sized bed or much smaller multiple beds were in place, there would be plenty of space for a dresser, vanity, entertainment center, those sort of things along the whitewashed walls.
